Wedding Card Illustration - Soujanya and Karthik

A set of two custom wedding illustrations created for Sojuanaya and Karthik — one designed as a formal invitation for family and the other as a fun, quick invite for friends. The project began with understanding the couple, their personalities, family members and the different moods they wanted for each invitation. Character sketches were then developed from photographs, followed by hand-drawn illustrations and the final formal in reel for an invite.

Cartooning Collection

This project transforms personal moments, family stories and everyday experiences into playful custom cartoons. From funny incidents and memorable milestones to the quirks that make a family unique, each illustration captures the personality and emotion behind the moment. The process begins with a story, photograph or personal memory. These details are then translated into expressive characters, familiar settings and visual storytelling—creating a cartoon that feels personal, recognisable and full of character.

Visual Storytelling - Sillystrokes

Turning ideas, concepts and conversations into visuals that are easier to understand, remember and engage with.

The complex ideas were transformed into playful, accessible visual stories. From breaking down key concepts from books to visually documenting online discussions, each project used illustration as a tool for communication.

The process combines visual thinking, storytelling and illustration to bridge the gap between information and understanding—turning words into pictures and conversations into stories.

Letters In Doodle (Experiment)

In this experimental doodle series, each English alphabet is transformed into a playful illustration by filling its shape with tiny patterns, characters, objects and visual details.

The basic structure of every letter remains recognisable, while the doodles add a completely new personality to it. Lines become patterns.

Maagari Doodle Collection

A collection of doodling projects created in the Maagari style—playful, expressive and full of tiny visual details.

These illustrations combine hand-drawn lettering, quirky characters, small doodles and meaningful quotes to highlight a particular word, idea, emotion or personality. Sometimes a single character becomes the focus; sometimes a word takes centre stage and the surrounding doodles bring it to life.

Stinktober 2025 - Chris Piascik

Stinktober was a fun illustration challenge inspired by Chris Piascik’s daily prompts, where each prompt became an excuse to create something weird, playful and completely unexpected. From strange little monsters to absurd characters and imaginative situations, the challenge was all about interpreting the prompt in my own visual language. There were no rules about making things serious or perfect—just draw, experiment, exaggerate and have fun. The 30 day challenge results in a collection of illustrations that feels spontaneous, goofy and playful—an exercise in creative exploration, character design and visual storytelling.
